Artist's Statement

Takeaway Donut & coffee

Inspired by the heartwarming happiness of enjoying a takeaway order of donut and coffee while traveling on métro, Métro Donut is a donut-sized Swiss Church Art known as Swiss Gospel Donut-Sized Art On The Go that illustrates the Word (bible verses and my lay sermons) to lead others to Christ, grow like Christ, live like Christ. Creating Pastoral Works of Art and ministering to others (providing personal and spiritual guidance) (1 Peter 4:10) is what I do in Métro Donut. It fosters: 1) the invitation to the unfamiliar and the strayed to be acquainted with, believe, receive and accept Jesus Christ as Lord (1 Corinthians 12:3), Saviour (Romans 10:9-10) and Friend (John 15:14-15). 2) the gradual, daily life-changing transformations (Romans 12:2) from one’s worldly self (carnal nature) (Galatians 5:19-21; Titus 3:3) to a representative of Christ (spiritual nature) (Galatians 5:22-24) by the works (infilling and controlling) (Ezekiel 36:27; 1 Corinthians 3:16) of Holy Spirit (John 14:26) that dwells within oneself whom one received as promised (Luke 24:49) upon the acceptance of Christ into one’s life as Lord, Saviour and Friend (John 14:26). 3) genuine believers who may show themselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom they are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world (Philippians 2:15) and live lives worthy of God, Who calls them into His own kingdom and the glorious blessedness [into which true believers will enter after Christ’s return] (1 Thessalonians 2:12, 5:23). Being light in weight and portable (also available as mural paintings), one is able to enjoy looking at Métro Donut Works of Art wherever one is. Wherever one goes. On the métro. On the road. At the park. At the café. Day or night. All year round. During quiet time with God. My private Spirit-filled experience with God through praying, reading, studying, fasting and applying God's Word in my everyday life as a disciple of Christ and leading a life of luxury (In a state which I enjoy creating artworks in true happiness) are the core of Métro Donut and its art development. I work with graphite on donut-sized drawing papers and connoisseur-grade only European watercolours with reputable animal fur brushes on acid-free, museum quality watercolour papers. My art as a whole, Métro Donut, I am in a class of my own. Traditional art subjects such as portrait art, genre, landscape and still life are also available. I accept private and public art commissions commencing at CHF800 and up.

A Tenth Gift - Support the Swiss Church Artist

As blood gives life (Leviticus 17:11, 14) to one's body, money gives life to one's existence [i.e. expenditures such as food, water, shelter, clothing, healthcare, personal grooming, leisure] and faith (Hebrews 11:1, 6) gives life to one's existence (Ephesians 2:1) in Christ (John 14:6, 20:29). Offering God's allocated provisions - money - is offering Him a portion [a symbolic tenth - see various tenths in Old Testament] (Numbers 18:29) of oneself as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God which is one's spiritual worship (Romans 12:1). Support (1 Corinthians 9:13-14) Métro Donut on the preaching of lay sermons and creation of artist's drawings [both works created at the rate of 1-3 monthly, sometimes 1 over a 2-month period] monthly without ceasing as one body of Christ (Romans 8:28, 12:3-5; 1 Corinthians 12:27) to illuminate every soul with God's Word (John 1:1) that radiates life. Continue to do this good work (Hebrews 13:16; James 2:14-17) If you love Me (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 6:24; John 14:21), feed my sheep (John 21:17), Jesus says.
